Formaldehyde Value Chain alliance supports European Commission proposal

European social partners in the chemical industry, the European Chemical Employers’ Group (ECEG) and industriAll European Trade Union together with the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) and Formacare signed a joint letter expressing their support on the European Commission’s proposal to include Formaldehyde in the third amendment of the Carcinogens and Mutagens Directive. The proposal will harmonize binding minimum requirements which protect European workers and, in the meantime, enable industry to strive in Europe.
