ECEG announced that its general assembly elected Klaus-Peter Stiller, the CEO of the German member association, BAVC (German Chemical Employers’ Association), as President.
The former president, Yves Verschueren, the CEO of the Belgian member, essenscia, stepped down after completing his term. ECEG and its member associations thank Yves Verschueren for his successful presidency and his engagement for the European chemical employers.
His successor, Klaus-Peter Stiller, brings years of social dialogue experience to the EU level, especially in conducting collective bargaining negotiations on the national level in his stint as the BAVC’s managing director of the collective bargaining policy and labour law department since 2011.
Klaus-Peter Stiller was born in 1958 in Münster, Germany. He studied law both at the University of Saarbrücken and Bonn. After holding various leading positions of different undertakings of the chemical, telecommunication and insurance sectors, he joined ECEG’s German member, BAVC, in 2011, and since 2014, he has been both Director General and member of the management board of the BAVC.
ECEG looks forward to the new challenges and opportunities under Klaus-Peter Stiller’s leadership.
